Cloud 9’s core value of Wellness drives us to work hard to help dogs truly thrive. Modern-day life demands a lot of us, creating “behavior problems” resulting from dogs lacking adequate opportunity to be dogs.
We offer a variety of services designed to fill the emotional cup of every dog’s unique needs. Here at Cloud 9 Canine, we believe all dogs find their joy through a basis of enrichment consisting of the just-right mix of:
- Socialization—Providing dogs structured opportunities to build relationships with other dogs and people outside of their household.
- Decompression—Getting dogs out in nature, away from the hustle-and-bustle of suburbia.
- Mental Stimulation—Satisfying their instincts and tendencies to make them content rather than exhausted.
- Exercise—Keeping dogs active to support their physical health.
Enrichment Service Options
All enrichment services include a FREE membership to our Cloud 9 Dog Training Club & Behavior support group.
Day Camp
Day camp is a group service putting behavioral welfare first. We enrich dogs’ time with curated activity plans that give dogs opportunities for structure social interaction intermingled with relaxation, brain games, exercise challenges, and leash walking alongside other dogs. Day camp primarily sees dogs who have graduated our training and behavior modification programs and now enjoy time with us weekly to maintain and progress their experience.
Scheduling & Pricing
Day camp runs 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, Monday through Friday. Dogs are matched to groups. Pricing is for one month of once weekly attendance.

Group Hikes
Group hikes give dogs off-leash time in nature within a small group of other dogs. Run exclusively by Jordan and Nicole for dog trainer oversight, dogs enjoy a romp with a crew of other dogs where they will have enforced social skills, practice their recalls, and step away from the noise of day to day life to decompress. We deeply value freedom of movement and decompression for dogs, and we’re thrilled to bring this enrichment to our local Kalamazoo canine community.

Dog Days Out
Come rain, snow, or shine, we take dogs out of the house and enjoying the big wide world around them! This individualized service offers monthly decompression & enrichment plans for dogs to get out and about in a 90-minute combined decompression outing followed by public distraction work. Talk over your goals with Jordan to build your dog’s confidence, socialize your puppy, or get your working breed appropriate outlets for their needs and their own behavioral welfare.

Dog Days Out can be purchased as a monthly package or billed weekly on a recurring schedule. Outings are available 6am-11pm, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Pricing is for once weekly outings.

Field Trips
For dogs that benefit from multiple outings per week, we offer field trips to take your pup on individualized outings around the greater Kalamazoo area in 60 minute time slots. Jordan will assess your dog and discuss whether you’d like to focus on decompression time in nature or socialization outings in public stores and walkways for your dog’s needs. Simply pack up your dog’s gear and we will come to pick them up for their daily adventure, whether it’s exploring a hidden gem on a wooded hike or perusing the aisles of dog-friendly businesses to practice their real world skills.

Structured Walking
If your dog prefers to stick around the neighborhood, you’ll enjoy our Structured Walking Program! This dog walking service follows leash walking curriculum designed by Jordan to give your dog mental stimulation and practice everyday skills while they go on their regular stroll around the block. Your dog gets mental and physical exercise and you enjoy updates with reporting on their progress every step along the way.

We start out all new households with a Meet & Greet to allow us the opportunity to meet each other and get to know your dog.
From there, Jordan will discuss with you your dog’s unique enrichment plan directly: we value individualized attention to all the people and dogs in our care.
From there, we’ll continue to discuss with you through daily reporting and monthly follow ups to update your dog’s plan throughout their time with us!
